About Georgina

 

 

Beginning her cooking career, by accident, over 25 years ago in Bermagui, a small fishing village on the south coast of NSW, Georgina set up and ran Le Marlin Café and Le Wharf Café, both icons in the town.

For twelve years she extended her skills, cooking privately in a Tuscan style villa, feeding distinguished guests, many from overseas, catering for receptions, weddings  and a stream of other functions. During this time she travelled extensively and spent much time in northern Tuscany, where she now conducts her small group tours.

She then set up her own ‘Cucina’, a private dining room and commercial kitchen overlooking the oyster farms at Wapengo Lake. Here she fed many a happy visitor and also established her cooking school.

She has always been a great exponent of fresh local produce, wherever she is cooking.

Georgina’s Cucina is now ‘on the road’ and is presently located in Melbourne, offering cooking classes and catering in private homes and businesses and taking small groups on fantastic food tours.
