about georgina![]() |
Beginning her cooking career, by accident, over 25 years ago in Bermagui, a small fishing village on the south coast of NSW, Georgina set up and ran Le Marlin Café and Le Wharf Café, both icons in the town. She extended her skills, cooking privately in a Tuscan style villa, feeding distinguished guests, many from overseas, catering for receptions, weddings and a stream of other functions. During this time she travelled extensively, experiencing the tastes of the world and cooking in some amazing kitchens. Georgina now has her own ‘cucina’, overlooking the upper waters of Wapengo Lake, where she can watch the oyster farmers at their business. Over these years her passion for food has grown as has her enthusiasm for the fine produce of the region.
Georgina writes a seasonal
newsletter to keep everyone up to date with what's happening at the
Cucina. If you would like to receive one please
email her. |
